Privacy Policy
Last updated: to be set at launch
Legal review status: this plain-language policy is prepared for review before launch. NPS should confirm service providers, retention terms, and telephone/SMS consent requirements with qualified counsel.
This Privacy Policy explains how National Portfolio Services LLC(“NPS,” “we,” “us”) handles the information you provide when you contact us about a property through this website. We currently position the public site for property owners in Minnesota.
Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to submit through the property contact form, which may include:
- Your name
- Your phone number and email address
- Your preferred method of contact
- The property address, city, state, and ZIP code
- Your reason for contacting us and the situation involved
- Any additional details you include in the message field
- Whether you consented to be contacted, and the date and time of that consent
We also automatically record limited technical information with each submission, such as your browser’s user-agent string and the page the form was submitted from, to help us prevent spam and operate the site. We do not knowingly collect more than what is described here.
How we use your information
- To review the property and the situation you described
- To contact you about your inquiry and possible next steps
- To respond to your questions and communicate with you
- To keep records of inquiries and to prevent fraud or abuse
We do not sell your personal information as the term is commonly understood. Final legal review should confirm any state-specific definitions that apply.
Communications and consent
If you provide your phone number or email and check the consent box, you agree that we may contact you by phone call, text message, or email about your property. Submitting the form is not a purchase agreement and creates no obligation. Message and data rates may apply to text messages, and you may opt out of communications at any time by telling us you no longer wish to be contacted.
How your information is stored
Form submissions are stored in a hosted database and supporting infrastructure operated by third-party service providers on our behalf. We rely on those providers’ security measures and our own access controls to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Final launch copy should name the primary hosting, database, and form-processing providers if required.
Sharing your information
We may share your information with service providers who help us operate the site and review properties, and with parties necessary to complete a transaction if you choose to move forward (for example, a title company or closing agent). We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights.
Data retention
We keep inquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you, to pursue a possible transaction, and to meet legal, tax, and record-keeping requirements, after which we delete or de-identify them when appropriate. NPS should confirm the final retention period before launch.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete the information you submitted, and you can opt out of further contact. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently use advertising or third-party analytics cookies. If that changes, this policy will be updated to describe what is used and your choices.
Children’s privacy
This site is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
